Since taking over in autumn 2025, we’ve worked hard to give this much-loved pub a fresh start while preserving its traditional character and relaxed canalside charm. Our focus is simple: freshly prepared food, well-kept ales and ciders, friendly service and a place where everyone feels welcome.
Whether you’re joining us for a hearty pub lunch, an evening restaurant meal, a traditional Sunday roast or simply a drink beside the canal, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere and genuine community spirit at the heart of everything we do.
During the warmer months, our large, dog-friendly canalside garden is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor music, homemade food, refreshing drinks and lighter, tapas-style dishes with family and friends.
